Two opal glass shades face in opposite directions — the tall one sends light up the wall, the short one drops it down — so one fixture gives a hallway or the wall above a bed two soft pools of light instead of a single flat wash. The backplate is a small bow tie in a brass finish and sits flush against the plaster.
